History
Founded by William H Lloyd in 1969 as a one-truck operation, Lloyd Construction Company has evolved into a full service general contracting firm that has built some of the most unique, iconic, and award-winning projects in Southern Arizona. We have earned our reputation for integrity, passion, and excellence.
Meet the Business Owners
Bill and Brad grew up in the construction industry. From the time they were kids, their father, William H. Lloyd, founder of Lloyd Construction, Inc., would bring them to the company's projects sites. William would give the boys small jobs to do or have them observe the tradesmen and superintendents. He would explain the work they saw being done.
So, by the time the boys were in high school, they had years of experience under their belt. That didn't mean William made it easy on them. Once they started earning a company salary, they had to do it by starting in the field, as laborers and tradesmen, before they could run a job as superintendent. After gaining field experience, they moved into the office and learned the estimating and project management aspects of the business. This life long education instilled in them a passion to continue the work their father started, building quality construction that lasts the test of time.
